Formula:
Each 100 cc contains: Ammonium Chloride 2.00%; Benzyl Alcohol 0.75%; Double-distilled Water q.s. 100 ml.

Used in practice for the treatment of sciatic and intercostal pain, neuritis and pain of nervous origin in different areas of horses' limbs.

Indications:
Intended for the relief of muscle pain. Indicated in cases of myositis, myalgia, muscle contractures. Its effect lasts 2 to 3 weeks and becomes noticeable within 2 hours of injection. It is indicated for large muscle masses such as the shoulder, croup, and back-loin. Can be used alone or combined with antibiotics or local anesthetics.

Routes of administration:
Intramuscular only (infiltrations).
Paravertebral: Cervical 2-3ml;
Dorsal: 5-10ml; Lumbar 5-10ml;
Sacral: 3-5ml.
Caudal: 10ml
Sciatic: 10ml
Local: infiltration 5-10ml.
One application every 30 days.

Local effects:
After infiltration, the horse may show discomfort. It can be combined with lidocaine to prevent symptoms.

Precautions:
Should be used exclusively by a veterinarian.

Contraindications:
Injuries where blocking pain would worsen the condition: fissures, fractures, tendinitis or infectious processes. Small local inflammatory reactions may occur at the injection site, which disappear shortly after application.
